Meet Santa & Mrs Claus at Athlone Castle

Athlone Castle will transform into a magical Christmas experience on the 16th and 17th of December this year as we celebrate Christmas with all the charm and atmosphere of an historic castle.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be visiting for two days to meet children in Athlone. Santa’s helpers will greet visitors on entry to the castle courtyard, and children will then meet Mrs. Claus who will regale them with her favourite Christmas stories from the cosy Castle Keep. Visitors will make their way through the seasonally decorated castle and enjoy festive fun activities including Christmassy crafts, games, and dress-up areas with Christmas music along the way. Santa’s helpers will guide you to our magical castle grotto where Santa Claus will be waiting with cuddly gifts for all the children. Hot chocolate with marshmallows will be served in the castle courtyard before concluding the Christmas visit.

Photo opportunities will be aplenty so you can treasure these special memories forever.

PRICES:
• Child (Ages 3+) €25.00 pp (includes a gift from Santa and hot chocolate)
• Adult/Teenager €5.00 pp (admission only)
• Toddler (Ages 0-2) €15.00 pp (includes a gift from Santa and hot chocolate)
All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Please note that bookings are only available online and a booking fee will apply. Entry will only be available 15 minutes before the pre-booked time.

In the booking process, Santa will require the following information:

• Child’s name
• Child’s age at the time of visit

As it is an extremely busy time for Santa, we kindly ask you to take careful note of the time booked. We advise that you arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for check-in. Please be aware that if you miss your time, we may not be able to accommodate you at an alternative time.
