Athlone Castle Visitor Centre is delighted to host its seventh annual Medieval Fayre in association with the Society for Creative Anachronism on Saturday 31st August and Sunday 1st September 2019.
Sleigh bells will be ringing loudly over Athlone Castle on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th December as Santa and Mrs. Claus will be visiting to meet the boys and girls from the town and surrounding areas.
Athlone Castle is delighted to announce its Halloween event, Rattling Bones and Tombstones Storytelling and Puppetry Shows on Saturday 27th October. Children can get prepared for Halloween fun with Storygate in the Upper Keep of the Castle, with four story and puppet sessions taking place at 12pm, 2pm, 3.30pm & 5pm
