Athlone Castle will host a “From Garden to Runway” Free Fashion Show Event for children in celebration of Cruinniú na nÓg on Saturday 7th June 2025 at 3pm in the castle courtyard.
Children aged 9-15 are invited to participate in a Free hands-on workshop led by local artists Niamh Butler and Aoife Doolan. Participants will design and craft unique costumes inspired by the rich beauty of the Historical Garden at Athlone Castle, using recycled and sustainable materials. Workshop slots are available on Saturday 17th and 24th May from 2 to 5 pm. Workshops are Free, but pre-booking is essential.
